Wellness Checks

An Annual Adult Wellness Check is a yearly

appointment intended to detect, address, and

prevent chronic and/or life threatening diseases.

During a wellness check a personalized treatment plan is created or updated.

This plan may include risk factors to be aware of. Wellness checks differ from annual physicals and are more extensive and time consuming. Wellness checks help to your current state of health and create a baseline to compare to and to create a plan for future care.

Annual physical exams are extensive yearly appointments meant to detective the possibility of diseases or disorders. During each exam a personalized treatment plan is created to determine the best method of treatment.

Personalized treatment plans are created per each patient, taking multiple facets of the patient including age, gender, race, culture, and familial history.

At Bamboo Family Clinic we not only focus on your physical health, but also your emotional and psychological health as well. We provide on site psychiatric assessments and medication management. TB Skin Testing

We offer 1-Step and 2-Step TB Skin Testing as required by many school programs, clinical rotations, and employment opportunities.

Pregnancy Testing

A pregnancy test can confirm whether a woman is pregnant. This test screens for the presence of the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG/HCG) hormone in urine or blood.

Rapid Testing

At Bamboo Family Clinic we offer a variety of in house rapid testing. A rapid test is a rapid diagnostic test suitable for point-of-care testing that directly detects the presence or absence of an antigen.

Allergy Skin and Blood Testing

Allergy Testing

Bamboo Family Clinic offers allergy skin tests, during this test your skin is exposed to suspected allergy-causing substances (allergens) and is then observed for signs of an allergic reaction.

We also offer allergy blood test, an allergy blood test checks for antibodies called immunoglobulin E (IgE) in your blood. Antibodies are proteins your immune system produced in response to harmful substances such as viruses or bacteria. If you have an allergy, your body produces IgE in response to the allergen even if it’s harmless.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy

Testosterone Replacemet Therapy

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a widely used treatment for men with symptomatic hypogonadism. The benefits seen with TRT, such as increased libido and energy level, beneficial effects on bone density, strength and muscle as well as cardioprotective effects, have been well-documented.

Cosmetic and Therapeutic Botox

Botox

Botox is a drug that weakens or paralyzes muscle. In small doses, it can reduce skin wrinkles and help treat some medical conditions.

Cosmetic Botox is often used to help reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles such as crows feet, smile lines, and horizontal forehead wrinkles.

Therapeutic Botox is used to relieved multiple pain points such as migraines, neck pain, bruxism (teeth grinding and jaw clenching), and TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction) disorder.

Intravenous (IV) Therapy

IV Therapy

The purpose of intravenous (IV) therapy is to replace fluid and electrolytes, provide medications, and replenish blood volume. IV therapy uses a type of tiny plastic tubing (cannula) that goes into the vein, a needle, and plastic tubing that connects the set-up to a bag of fluid.
